New e-Bill solution that process raw input (XML format) from operational billing system, prepares PDF invoices and makes them available to customers through a secured portal

CHALLENGES

Reduce bill printing and delivery costs by introducing a new eBill portal for end customers to login and download their monthly bills. The new solution was requested to be delivered within very aggressive timelines

APPROACH

1UP developed a new cloud ready application where frontend is build with React-Redux technologies while the backend is heavily leveraging on the microservices technologies and Open API standards. Solution is delivered fully Agile

RESULTS

The whole application was delivered within 1 month. Once e-Bills are prepared the application automatically sends a personalised mail to customers with their invoice summary and a deep link to the portal where they can login and download the bills

Youth customer experience transformation with direct social profile integration, advanced gamification and entertainment capabilities enabled through mobile app

CHALLENGES

Increase loyalty and reduce churn for the youth customers segment. Build a dedicated mobile app with technologies flexible to entertainment and gaming capabilities. Customers registration and youth eligibility validation is handled through the customers’ Facebook profile

APPROACH

The project is delivered fully Agile. Unity is used for the frontend developments considering that Unity is best in class for games development. Code developed in Unity can be reused between iOS and Android. Backend is developed with microservices accessed through modern API-GW.

RESULTS

Registration and age validation is done through Facebook profile. Customers can use the app to play games and earn coins that are maintained in the backend. Through the app customers can redeem coins and trade products within the community market
